In addition to many visits around our community to educate our neighbors about oral and general health, we also open our office to the the local schools. This starts our children off on the right foot of oral and general good health. Schools routinely visit our office to educate their students on the importance of early dental health care.

P.S.132 learns about the importance of visiting the Dentist on a regular basis.

Many classes visit our facility annually to learn what a Dentist does. This picture depicts the students watching Dr. Peritore explain what an Xray is and why he uses them.

Many of the children were able to sit in the Doctors chair and learned how to brush. The kids really enjoyed looking at the computer program the Dentist uses.

Like fingerprints, dental toothprints are unique to every person and are very useful when trying to identify someone.A Toothprints® impression also captures saliva, which is a powerful source of human scent, thus making the wafer effective for scent-dog tracking. The saliva also provides a DNA sample.

Senior dental health:

Dr. Peritore routinely facilitates educating our seniors on the importance of maintaining thier dental health for good nutrition. Our belief is that education and understanding is a vital part of your overall well-being. As we age, our eating habits change. Tooth loss can negatively affect your daily dietary intake needs. We address many issues that arise through our life cycle.
